Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Home Renovate Agent ("the Service", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when a business uses the Service to handle incoming calls, qualify leads, and book appointments on their behalf.
1. What the Service does
Home Renovate Agent is a voice-based assistant for home renovation and contracting businesses. It answers incoming calls, asks callers about their project, checks calendar availability, books appointments, and notifies the business owner of new leads.
2. Information we collect
- Caller-provided information: name, phone number, project type, location, timeline, budget range, and preferred appointment dates, as given verbally during a call.
- Call transcripts: processed automatically to extract the information above. Transcripts are not reviewed manually except where a lead is flagged for follow-up.
- Google Calendar data: with the business owner's authorization, we access their Google Calendar to check appointment availability and create new calendar events. We request only the calendar scopes necessary for this purpose.
- Business owner contact details: phone number and email address, used solely to send lead notifications and daily lead summaries.
3. How we use this information
- To qualify incoming leads and determine appropriate follow-up
- To check calendar availability and schedule appointments
- To notify the business owner of new leads by SMS and email
- To generate periodic lead summary reports for the business owner
We do not sell caller or business data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers required to operate the Service (calendar, messaging, email, and hosting providers), each bound to process data only as instructed.
4. Google User Data
Our access to and use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used only to check availability and manage appointments for the connected business account, and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
5. Data retention
Lead and call data is retained for as long as the business account remains active, to support ongoing customer records and reporting. A business owner may request deletion of their data at any time using the contact details below.
6. Data security
Information is stored using encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate the Service.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, including rights under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
